2-Channel Relay Module
The 2-Channel Relay Module from Fidar Electronics provides two relay outputs, driven remotely or from a sensor threshold. It connects to a FIDAQUIRE data logger over a daisy-chained CANopen bus.
Two independent relay outputs
Two independent relay outputs in one unit
Driven remotely or by a sensor threshold
Closes the loop from alarm to automatic action
RJ45 output on a CANopen bus
Daisy-chains up to 64 sensors per card
Works with the FBC0232-01 card and FIDAQUIRE logger
Up to 500 m of bus at 125 kbit/s
A relay module closes the loop: a system that only reads can tell you something is wrong; a system with relays can do something about it. These two outputs are driven either remotely or automatically from a threshold set on any sensor in the system, and can switch a fan, a pump, a solenoid valve, a siren or anything else — bringing up an auxiliary fan the moment a server room passes its limit, with nobody driving to site at 3 a.m.

Where it is used
Switching fans and auxiliary ventilation
Driving pumps, solenoid valves and process equipment
Triggering sirens and beacons on a critical condition
Remote switching without a site visit
