Ambient Dust Sensor
The Ambient Dust Sensor from Fidar Electronics continuously measures airborne particulate at 1, 2.5 and 10 micron sizes. It connects to a FIDAQUIRE data logger over a daisy-chained CANopen bus.

A dust sensor continuously measures airborne particulate at 1, 2.5 and 10 micron sizes (PM1, PM2.5 and PM10). The size split matters: coarse particles are a filter and equipment-fouling problem, while fine particles reach deep into the lungs and are the metric occupational health actually cares about. A continuous record is both your environmental and safety compliance evidence and the basis for changing filters when they are dirty rather than when the calendar says so.
