Networked Ambient Dust Sensor
The Networked Ambient Dust Sensor from Fidar Electronics continuously measures airborne particulate at 1, 2.5 and 10 micron sizes. It runs standalone on its own IP address with a built-in web page.
Resolves 1, 2.5 and 10 micron particle sizes
Alarm when concentration crosses a threshold
For air-quality monitoring and filter control
Own IP address and built-in web page
Powered by PoE or a 48 V adapter
DHCP or a static IP address
SNMP monitoring in PRTG and SolarWinds
Alerts by email, internal relay and external siren
A dust sensor continuously measures airborne particulate at 1, 2.5 and 10 micron sizes (PM1, PM2.5 and PM10). The size split matters: coarse particles are a filter and equipment-fouling problem, while fine particles reach deep into the lungs and are the metric occupational health actually cares about. A continuous record is both your environmental and safety compliance evidence and the basis for changing filters when they are dirty rather than when the calendar says so.
