Networked Water Leak Sensor
The Networked Water Leak Sensor from Fidar Electronics detects water anywhere along a sensing cable of up to 50 m. It runs standalone on its own IP address with a built-in web page.
Continuous sensing cable up to 50 m
Detects a leak anywhere along the cable
Immediate alarm to protect sensitive equipment
Own IP address and built-in web page
Powered by PoE or a 48 V adapter
DHCP or a static IP address
SNMP monitoring in PRTG and SolarWinds
Alerts by email, internal relay and external siren
A water leak sensor works with a continuous sensing cable: contact with water anywhere along its length raises the alarm at once. Unlike a spot probe, which only sees where it happens to sit, the cable covers up to 50 m and can be run around racks, under a raised floor, alongside chiller pipework or around a UPS room. In a server room the difference between minutes of warning and losing the whole room is exactly where and when the water is seen.
