Project summary

Smart boiler-room control across more than 1000 school plants for Kurdistan School Renovation Organisation.

  • Lower fuel use and more stable classroom temperatures
  • Remote supervision for the renovation organisation
  • A repeatable package that scales to further sites

About this project

Working with Kurdistan School Renovation Organisation, Fidar Electronics rolled out smart boiler-room control across more than 1000 school plants in Kurdistan.

Each site gets the same package: local control, remote supervision and a heating schedule that follows occupancy instead of a fixed timer.

Scope of work

  • A repeatable design that the renovation organisation could deploy at scale
  • Controllers, sensors and communications at each boiler room
  • A central view for the provincial team and training for local caretakers

Outcome

Schools run warmer when occupied and spend less fuel overnight and in holidays. The organisation can see plant status without visiting every building.
