Wireless AC Current Sensor
The Wireless AC Current Sensor from Fidar Electronics measures RMS alternating current from 0 to 5 A, and reaches much larger feeders through a current transformer. It links over a LoRa radio with no cabling at all.
Measures RMS alternating current, 0 to 5 A
Extendable to higher currents with a CT
Fast response to load changes and current swings
LoRa radio link up to 1 km line of sight
AES-128 encrypted payloads
Pairs with the FWL1600-01 LoRa card
No cabling; pairing takes seconds
Low-battery warning per node
An AC current sensor continuously measures the RMS current flowing in a line and hands it to your monitoring system for logging, trending and alarms. It reads 0–5 A directly, and with a current transformer the same sensor covers feeders of tens or hundreds of amps — the CT ratio is applied in software so the reading comes back in the line's real amps. Current is the most telling health signal an electrical load has: its trend shows a motor's loading, whether a machine is actually running, and the onset of mechanical wear well before it stops the line.

Connectivity
LoRa link up to 1 km with AES-128 encryption
Quick pairing with the FWL1600-01 receiver card
Sensor-fault and low-battery warnings before the cell dies
Where it is used
Motor and pump load monitoring, catching overload before burnout
Consumption measurement on distribution boards and feeders
Proving a machine is running from the current it draws
Server-room, UPS and backup-circuit load monitoring
Energy management and per-line consumption breakdown
Street-lighting circuits and pumping stations
Installation
Mount the sensor on the panel wall or rail and keep the signal cable away from power conductors so induced noise does not disturb the reading.
