Wireless Ambient Dust Sensor
The Wireless Ambient Dust Sensor from Fidar Electronics continuously measures airborne particulate at 1, 2.5 and 10 micron sizes. It links over a LoRa radio with no cabling at all.
Resolves 1, 2.5 and 10 micron particle sizes
Alarm when concentration crosses a threshold
For air-quality monitoring and filter control
LoRa radio link up to 1 km line of sight
AES-128 encrypted payloads
Pairs with the FWL1600-01 LoRa card
No cabling; pairing takes seconds
Low-battery warning per node
A dust sensor continuously measures airborne particulate at 1, 2.5 and 10 micron sizes (PM1, PM2.5 and PM10). The size split matters: coarse particles are a filter and equipment-fouling problem, while fine particles reach deep into the lungs and are the metric occupational health actually cares about. A continuous record is both your environmental and safety compliance evidence and the basis for changing filters when they are dirty rather than when the calendar says so.
