Notes on this configuration
- This unit also takes 5 I/O cards at 8 channels each; if you would rather wire straight into the chassis, an engineer can quote the card-based build.
- This is a combination Fidar already installs as a packaged system.
Frequently asked questions
- How many temperature sensors does a cold store need?
- It depends on volume and room count. The usual rule is one point per room, plus one near the door and one at the corner furthest from the evaporator. This package is sized for eight points, which covers a mid-sized multi-room store.
- What happens during a power cut?
- The central unit runs on a UPS, and the power cut itself is one of the events it can alarm on. An AC voltage detector is added to the same package when the outage needs to be monitored independently.
- Does this package produce audit and HACCP records?
- Yes. The logger stores samples continuously and the history can be exported. The sampling interval is configurable.
