Notes on this configuration
- This combination was worked out from the product specifications and is not yet a packaged system — please have an engineer confirm it before ordering.
- This unit also takes 5 I/O cards at 8 channels each; if you would rather wire straight into the chassis, an engineer can quote the card-based build.
Frequently asked questions
- How is the current sensor installed?
- The AC current sensor clamps around the feeder cable, so the circuit does not have to be broken. The three-channel version covers all three phases of one feeder with a single device.
- Where do the dry contacts come from?
- From breaker auxiliary contacts, protection relays and panel door switches. Each three-channel detector takes three points.
- Does this package measure power quality?
- No. It monitors current, voltage presence and contact state. Harmonic and power quality analysis is outside the scope of these products.
