Safe and vault monitoring
Timestamps door openings, impacts, temperature and humidity in safes and vaults, turning every access into an evidential event.

Why this monitoring is needed
A vault usually has cameras, but a camera does not tell you one thing: exactly when the door opened and how long it stayed open. Reconciling against the handover log and answering an audit need precisely those two numbers, and reviewing hours of video is no substitute.
A document vault has a second problem: humidity. Paper moulds in high humidity and turns brittle in low. That decay takes years and is invisible until a document is already damaged.
What gets measured
Vault door open and close
A dry-contact detector wires to the door micro-switch and every event is timestamped.
Impact and forced-entry attempts
The shock sensor detects horizontal and vertical impact on the safe body or vault wall.
Internal temperature and humidity
For a document vault these two set preservation and have to be held in a narrow band.
Power and alarm system
A power cut disables the protection system and is itself a security event.
Water ingress
Vaults are usually in basements, and water ingress is among the most common causes of damage to contents.

- 1
Door opened outside the permitted window: immediate SMS and siren.
- 2
Impact above threshold outside working hours: top-priority alarm.
- 3
Protection-system power loss: independent GSM alarm — the outage itself can be the prelude to an intrusion.
- 4
Vault humidity outside the preservation band: document-conservation alarm.
- 5
Any water on the sensing cable: immediate SMS alarm.
What the operator gets
Every vault access is timestamped and reconcilable with the handover log.
An intrusion attempt is announced in the first minutes, independent of the building network.
Preservation conditions for valuable documents become documented and auditable.
Frequently asked questions
Does this replace the intruder alarm system?
No. The certified intruder alarm stays where it is. This is a second layer: continuous timestamped event recording, environmental monitoring, and an alarm path independent of the main system's. The intruder panel's dry-contact output is also brought in as an input channel here.
How do you cover several branches with scattered vaults?
Each branch gets a logger with a GSM modem and all of them appear on one central dashboard. Cloud monitoring works without a static IP, so no network arrangement is needed at each branch.
